Job summary

Bristol Waste Management is seeking a confident Credit Controller to join its finance team in Bristol. This hands-on role manages credit control and sales ledger activities, ensuring invoices are accurate and payments received on time.

You will work with Operations and Accounts to resolve queries, build relationships with customers, and support a busy finance function with varied tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Proficient with Sage 50 and Excel for invoicing and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident telephone manner and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and chase overdue payments and maintain ledgers.
• Process invoices, credit notes and customer statements accurately.
• Resolve disputes and inquiries quickly with customers and teams.
• Maintain up-to-date customer contacts and account information.
