Global Fire and Security Systems is seeking a Credit Controller on a fixed-term maternity cover basis at our Nottingham NG2 head office. The role focuses on timely debt collection, cash allocation and credit administration, supporting the credit control team.

You will chase overdue invoices, review credit applications, raise approvals, and produce monthly statements, while delivering strong customer service and adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a credit control role and ability to manage debt collection.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Good attention to detail, organisation and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries promptly and coordinate with service and sales.
• Chase overdue invoices by phone and email.
• Manage and collect debt to keep overdue debt within targets.
• Cash allocations daily to keep the ledger up to date.
• Review credit applications and run credit checks.
• Raise credit approvals and process credit notes.
• Issue monthly statements to customers.
• Support senior credit controller; perform ad hoc duties.
