Are you an enthusiastic professional with a knack for managing finances and building strong customer relationships? Our client is seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant office located in Chadderton, just a convenient 10-minute walk from a tram station!


What You'll Do:


As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Managing credit control through emails and phone calls

  • Proactively chasing payments from customers

  • Engaging with customers to discuss their accounts

  • Updating systems and spreadsheets with accuracy

  • Sending timely payment reminders

  • Negotiating payment plans that work for both the organisation and the customer

  • Handling general invoicing

  • Producing insightful reports to track payment trends and outstanding balances
