Position: Credit Controller - Maternity Cover

Duration: 12 months FTC

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Candidate Profile

• Experience in a credit control or similar role within an office environment
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in PC skills, especially Excel

Key Responsibilities

• Chase overdue payments from over 300 B2B customers
• Post and allocate receipts, raise credit notes, and reduce debtor days
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and letters
• Liaise with departments and attend credit control meetings
• Set up new customers, monitor credit reports, and resolve queries
• Manage invoicing and payments, including uploading to portals
