Job summary

VTA Recruitment seeks a skilled Credit Controller for a busy Middleton-based role (M24). The position offers an immediate start on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with hours 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, paying £15.00 per hour.

You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase overdue payments, resolve queries, process payments, and keep accurate records, liaising with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Credit Controller experience – essential.
• Confident speaking with customers.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working to deadlines and targets.
• A strong communicator with a professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Monitoring outstanding invoices and chasing overdue payments by telephone and email.
• Resolving customer payment and account queries.
• Processing and allocating payments accurately.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date account records.
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Supporting the wider accounts team as required.
