Job summary

St John Ambulance is seeking a Credit Controller on a fixed-term maternity cover contract to support our financial sustainability. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, resolve payment queries and maintain accurate records while delivering high levels of customer service.

Working with internal teams, you’ll investigate discrepancies, process payments and support cash reconciliation to help us continue serving communities across the country.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English with finance experience.
• Experience in large finance data sets and high-volume cash collection.
• Experience with SUN or Microsoft Dynamics and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and collect debts promptly while delivering high standard customer service.
• Investigate and resolve payment queries, disputed invoices and account discrepancies.
• Process and allocate customer payments, manage refunds and cash reconciliation.
• Monitor shared inboxes and portals, meet service levels and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Credit Control team and GDPR compliance.
