Job summary

DiverseJobsMatter is assisting an international insurer in filling a Credit Controller role in the UK. You will manage assigned accounts, support premium collection, and ensure accurate cash allocation while collaborating with brokers, clients, underwriters and operations.

The position emphasizes resolving queries, reconciling statements, and contributing to process enhancements with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills required.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in insurance/credit control within Commercial or London market.
• Knowledge of an additional language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring premiums are collected and cash is allocated accurately.
• Escalate debt and cash allocation issues to support prompt resolution.
• Review and reconcile broker statements, identify and resolve queries.
• Analyse recurring broker queries and address underlying causes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and user guides.
• Ensure accurate and timely data capture to support MI.
• Analyze processes and data to identify concerns and propose improvements.
• Support teams with complex queries and training.
