Job summary

Connected Search Group is recruiting a Credit Controller for a Chesterfield-based IT services business on a temporary assignment with flexible working, including the option to work from home. The role involves ownership of customer accounts and proactive balance collection.

You will contact customers by phone and email, resolve billing issues, and agree payment arrangements while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Able to communicate confidently with customers.
• Organised, persistent and proactive with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and overdue debt
• Contact customers by telephone and email regarding overdue invoices
• Resolve account queries and payment issues
• Agree payment arrangements where appropriate
• Allocate and reconcile payments
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection activity
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing issues
