Job summary

Vital Energi is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team as we grow. You will maximise cash flow by chasing debts, resolving invoice queries, and maintaining Navision accounts, while ensuring VAT/CIS compliance and strong relationships with customers.

This role requires at least 5 years accounts experience, a proactive approach, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of accounts experience in a busy finance function.
• Experience in construction CIS rules is advantageous.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics and Jet Reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Chase debts regularly to maximise cash flow.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with customers.
• Produce monthly aged debt reports.
• Maintain Navision customer and account data.
• Assist in credit checking customers.
• Handle daily bank reconciliations.
• Process sales ledger invoices and journals with approval.
