Job Title: Senior Credit Controller / Credit Controller

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller and Credit Controller for an outsourced service business with offices in Ware, Hertfordshire.

The Role

As a Senior Credit Controller or Credit Controller, you will support the Credit Manager in improving and developing credit collection procedures during a period of growth. Your daily duties will include:

1. Managing and improving collections on the ledger.
2. Allocating cash receipts.
3. Sending copy invoices and statements.
4. Monitoring the shared inbox.
5. Communicating effectively with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes.
6. Maintaining and repairing customer relationships.
7. Contributing to the team’s objective of minimizing aged debt.
8. Agreeing payment plans with customers.
9. Using customer portals and creating clear process documentation for billing and credit control.
10. Liaising with other departments for smooth resolutions.

Your Profile

The Senior Credit Controller should have experience working in a fast-paced credit control environment and be capable of handling both easy and difficult customer queries. The Credit Controller role is suitable for candidates with up to 2 years of experience or those from a customer service or call centre background seeking their first finance-related role.
