Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Credit Controller to join a supportive finance team in the UK. You will manage a ledger of 300+ B2B accounts, chase overdue payments, post cash, and support the wider finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a ledger of 300+ B2B customer accounts, ensuring payments are collected in line with agreed terms.
  • Building positive relationships with customers and resolving outstanding payment issues.
  • Chasing overdue payments by phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Posting and allocating daily cash receipts.
  • Raising and processing credit notes while supporting debt reduction.
  • Reviewing customer accounts and identifying potential credit risks.
  • Setting up new customer accounts and monitoring credit reports.
  • Uploading invoices to portals and ensuring PO requirements are met.
  • Attending monthly finance meetings and updating collection performance.
  • Supporting invoicing, statement processing, and other finance admin duties.
