Job summary

Pertemps Telford is seeking a Credit Controller for a full-time role based in Market Drayton. You will handle AR statements, recharge invoices, and debt chasing across multiple companies while maintaining the accounts receivable mailbox and processing payments.

The position runs 8:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with a potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in credit control, a finance background, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Produce AR statements and recharge invoices at start of month
• Chase outstanding payments across companies and manage accounts receivable inbox
• Process credit card payments by phone and handle customer checks
• Support event-related prepayments and update events team on payments
• Upload invoices to portals and conduct credit checks

Credit Controller

Our established manufacturing company based in Market Drayton is looking for a full-time credit controller to join their busy team based in the accounts department, the role might go permanent for the right candidate.

As part of your varied and busy role, you will be doing AR Statements and Recharge invoices at the start of the month.

Daily tasks will include,debt chasing across all companies, doing new customer account checks, doing new project requests checks, joint responsibility for the accounts receivable inbox, credit card payments by phone, chasing for prepayment of events, updating events team on any outstanding payments, invoicinguploads to portals and credit checks.
