Job summary

Market Drayton Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Credit Controller to join the busy accounts team in Market Drayton. The role involves AR statements, recharge invoices, debt chasing, credit checks, and portal uploads to support cash flow and customer compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in credit control, finance experience, and the ability to work under pressure. 8:00–16:30, Monday–Friday, with a salary of £16.41 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in credit control or similar role.
• Finance experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AR statements and recharge invoices at the start of each month.
• Chase debts across all company entities and handle credit checks.
• Process new customer account checks and new project requests checks.
• Manage the AR inbox and accept credit card payments by phone.
• Pursue prepayments for events and update events team on outstanding payments.
• Upload invoices to portals and perform credit checks.

Credit Controller

Our established manufacturing company based in Market Drayton is looking for a full-time credit controller to join their busy team based in the accounts department, the role might go permanent for the right candidate.

As part of your varied and busy role, you will be doing AR Statements and Recharge invoices at the start of the month.

Daily tasks will include, debt chasing across all companies, doing new customer account checks, doing new project requests checks, joint responsibility for the accounts receivable inbox, credit card payments by phone, chasing for prepayment of events, updating events team on any outstanding payments, invoicing uploads to portals and credit checks.
