As part of our continued growth, were looking for a proactive and reliable Credit Controller to join our finance team based in Loughton. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and thrives in a friendly, collaborative environment.

The Role

As Credit Controller, youll be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment, and maintaining healthy cash flow. Youll also assist with general finance support as needed, so this role would suit a strong all-rounder with a flexible, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to support smooth cash collection
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries
• Accurately allocate payments and maintain the sales ledger
• Prepare aged debtor reports and support with credit reporting
• Assist with general finance and admin duties as part of a supportive team

• Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner
• Great attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with finance systems (Sage, COINS or similar is a plus)
