Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Credit Control Manager to lead a central team of credit controllers and manage overdue accounts across customers in the UK. You will contact debtors, negotiate repayment plans, process payments and prepare statements using the MAM system.

You will be expected to work to strict deadlines, communicate clearly, explain financial matters, and maintain files with accuracy while banking reconciliations and letters are produced.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers when payment is overdue.
• Negotiate repayment plans where financial difficulties exist.
• Set up and maintain customer files (HO).
• Process payments and start legal proceedings if required (HO).
• Liaise with internal departments and notify changes in ownership (HO).
• Prepare and send collection letters (HO).
• Bank reconciliations and producing customer statements.

The continued growth of the group is as such that there is now a need to increase the central team of 14 staff.The accounting system is an industry specific package called MAM. This is a windows system and is intuitive for users familiar with any other windows based accounting package.
