What you'll do:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial stability of this thriving retailer. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing cash collections against set targets, building strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers, and ensuring that all payments are allocated correctly. You will be instrumental in resolving account queries for stores, monitoring outstanding debts, and taking proactive steps to minimise risks associated with non-payment. In addition to handling current accounts, you will also address historical balances by investigating discrepancies and escalating issues when needed. Training will be provided for credit risk assessment tasks, allowing you to expand your skillset while contributing meaningfully to the team’s objectives. Your ability to collaborate effectively across departments will be key as you help drive improvements in processes that underpin the company’s ongoing success.
What you bring:
To excel as a Credit Controller in this organisation, you will bring proven experience from previous credit control positions—ideally gained within a fast-moving environment —where you have developed robust technical skills alongside strong interpersonal abilities. Your proficiency with Excel will enable you to manage complex data sets efficiently while your familiarity with other office software ensures seamless administration.
