Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Credit Controller for an initial 6 month temporary assignment with a well-established organisation following growth in their sector. The role involves managing a portfolio of customer accounts, pursuing outstanding balances, and negotiating payment plans to minimise bad debts.

The position offers a salary of £28,750 with hybrid working available following an initial training period, along with a modern office, on-site parking and regular team engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and following up on outstanding balances.
• Negotiating and agreeing payment plans.
• Ensuring debts are managed in line with internal policies and procedures.
• Escalating overdue or high-risk accounts when required.
• Maintaining accurate records while delivering a high level of service.
• Strong communication skills and confidence handling phone-based conversations.
• Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
