Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments from customers, and minimizing bad debt losses. The Credit Controller will work closely with the sales and finance teams to maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities

• Proactively chasing current and aged debt via telephone and email.
• Managing problematic debt, taking necessary action and escalating as required.
• Working to individual revenue targets to ensure overall team efficiency.
• Reporting on ledger balances and providing updates to management.
• Query resolution regarding billing errors, working with the wider Finance Team.
• Supporting cash allocation processes.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in a B2B Credit Control role.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
• Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems, specifically Access systems.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve individual and team targets.
• Experience in chasing international debtors, particularly in the US market, would be a key differentiator.
