Job summary

VANRATH are partnering with a leading company to recruit a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team in Dungannon. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start and a clear path for progression.

As the Credit Controller you will manage your own portfolio across group entities, maintain the debt ledger, ensure customers pay within agreed terms, and raise credit notes when needed. The role also involves resolving payment discrepancies, supporting the sales team on

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years credit control experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with team members and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the debt ledger across one or more operating entities.
• Ensuring customers adhere to agreed payment terms.
• Process customer payments accurately.
• Proactively resolve price mismatches, quantity disputes, and promotional invoice queries.
• Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments and resolve any queries.
• Collaborate with the sales team on overdue accounts.
• Raise credit notes with authorisation and maintain detailed account notes for reporting.
• Provide cover for colleagues as needed.
• Assist the management team with ad hoc requests.
