Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, chase payments, and resolve invoice queries. You will build strong customer relationships, negotiate payment terms, and work with the Finance team to keep cash flowing.

The ideal candidate has prior Credit Control or AR experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and strong IT knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable is required.
• A confident communicator who can telephone and email customers.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with excellent organizational ability.
• Proactive, able to manage own workload and work well in a team.
• Good IT skills and experience with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring payments are received on time.
• Proactively chasing outstanding invoices by telephone and email.
• Building strong relationships with customers while negotiating payment dates.
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries and payment disputes.
• Monitoring aged debt and identifying opportunities to reduce overdue balances.
• Working with internal teams to resolve issues and keep cash flowing.
• Maintaining accurate account records and providing updates on outstanding debt.
• Supporting the wider Finance team with day-to-day activities.

Are you confident on the phone, great at building relationships and motivated by getting results? We’re looking for a proactive and organised Credit Controller to join our team and play a key role in keeping our finances running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• A confident communicator who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
