Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Credit Control Manager to lead a team of 14 credit controllers and manage overdue accounts. The role requires coordinating with internal departments, using the MAM accounting package, and ensuring timely payment processes.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to negotiate repayment plans, maintain customer files, produce statements, and work to strict deadlines while maintaining professional communication and accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contacting business customers when payment is overdue.
• Negotiating repayment plans if customers are in financial difficulties.
• Setting up and maintaining customer files (HO).
• Processing payments.
• Starting legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed time (HO).
• Liaising with internal businesses.
• Producing and sending collection letters (HO).
• Assisting in notifying new business acquisition customers of changes in ownership (HO).
• Bank reconciliations.

The Position

The Credit Control manager oversees a team of both geographically dispersed and centrally based credit controllers. The continued growth of the group is as such that there is now a need to increase the central team of 14 staff.

The accounting system is an industry specific package called MAM. This is a windows system and is intuitive for users familiar with any other windows based accounting package. Training will be provided as required.
