Job summary

Confidential, based in Bracknell, is seeking a Credit Controller to join their growing finance team. The role offers hybrid working after probation and a clear path for career progression. You will manage customer ledgers, chase debts, and provide regular financial reporting while supporting broader finance and admin duties.

The position is permanent and full-time, with a salary of £28,000 per annum, and a supportive culture with opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Updating cashbooks and reviewing foreign bank accounts for incoming funds.
• Taking ownership of customer ledger and proactively managing outstanding balances.
• Chasing outstanding debt, resolving queries, and initiating proceedings where required.
• Reconciling key customer and national accounts, raising discrepancies with internal teams.
• Producing regular reports and invoices including uploading to customer portals.
• Preparing consolidated reports, customer statements, and month-end information for the Finance Controller.
• Managing credit balances, debit notes, back orders, and exchange rate updates.
• Support with other relevant finance & admin duties as required.

Credit Controller About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working within a finance team of 8. You will be working alongside 1 other Credit Controller, and your key responsibilities will be:
