Job summary

Bupa in Leeds is recruiting a Finance Assistant to support Care Home billing and ensure invoices and payments are handled promptly and accurately. You will join the Operations Finance team, managing a portfolio of sales ledger accounts, communicating clearly with residents, families and colleagues, and helping to maintain debt positions.

This role offers hybrid working with office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, a 37.5 hour week, and a generous benefits package as part of Bupa's commitment to

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a credit control role is essential.
• Confidence using MS Package, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to plan time, stay organised and meet deadlines calmly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of sales ledger accounts for Care Homes.
• Carry out credit control activities, following up overdue payments by phone, email or letter in a supportive way.
• Respond to queries from residents, families and colleagues with clear guidance.
• Work with Care Home Administrators and Finance teams to keep debt positions accurate.
• Investigate and reconcile account queries and explain outcomes clearly.
• Support central billing to ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time.
• Review and approve refund requests in line with policy.
