Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Finance Assistant to support Care Home billing, ensuring invoices are accurate and payments collected with care. You will work in the Operations Finance team, managing sales ledger accounts and collaborating with Care Home Administrators and Finance teams to maintain correct debt positions.

You’ll use MS Office tools, especially Excel, to maintain records, resolve queries, and contribute to timely debt collection while communicating clearly with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a credit control role is essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated portfolio of sales ledger accounts for Care Homes.
• Carry out credit control activities and follow up overdue payments sensitively.
• Respond to queries from residents and families with clear guidance.
• Collaborate with Care Home Administrators and Finance teams to maintain accurate debt positions.
• Investigate and reconcile account queries and explain outcomes clearly.
• Support central billing to ensure invoices are accurate and issued on time.
• Keep detailed notes on the billing system for colleagues.
