Job summary

Bupa is hiring an Accounts Payable Team Member for its BGUK Finance Operations team at Bupa Place, Salford Quays. This hybrid role (2 days in the office) offers 37.5 hours per week and a starting salary from £26,400 per annum DOE.

You will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls and improving processes. You will process invoices, maintain supplier records, support governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote best practice across

Qualifications

• Experience within an accounts payable role is required.
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to analyse data from multiple sources.
• A meticulous approach and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure.
• A can-do attitude and desire to improve processes and customer service.
• Confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• High energy and enthusiasm.
• A professional telephone manner and strong customer service ethic.
• Advanced PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices from various sources and enter them accurately into the system.
• Ensure supplier maintenance follows governance procedures.
• Pay suppliers in accordance with terms and Bupa guidelines to improve PPR.
• Identify savings opportunities and implement actions to realise savings.
• Verify the legality of requests and challenge non-compliant documentation.
• Support process and system enhancements with a lean approach.
• Perform daily audit reports to minimise risk and maintain controls.
• Communicate with key stakeholders to promote best business practice.
• Manage workload and collaborate with the wider team.
