myPOS is expanding its team and seeking a Credit Control Executive to help reduce debt while maintaining strong relations with Merchants and internal teams. You will resolve delays in subscription payments and ensure smooth operations and prompt collection.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will contribute to debt reduction and manage daily arrears tasks, with a focus on accuracy, communication, and timely issue resolution.

• More than 12 months of credit control experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Calm and confident telephone manner.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Knowledge of Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Chase overdue arrears by phone, email, and letter for active and non-active accounts.
• Upload arrears reports into the system.
• Maintain system notes after all client communications to track account status.
• Issue settlement fee invoices.
• Allocate payments for rental accounts in the system.
• Resolve daily internal and external queries on standing arrears.
• Process credit card payments.
• Liaise with customers about lease agreements when required.
• Handle chargeback reports to minimize terminations and chargebacks.

About the role:

Reporting into the Managing Director, the Credit Control Executive will contribute towards overall debt reduction while maintaining good relations with Merchants, and both external and internal departments. You will work on resolving internal and external issues that are causing delay to payment of subscriptions, ensuring smooth operations and prompt payment.

What you’ll do:

• Chase overdue arrears by telephone, email and letter for active and non-active accounts (amounts)
• Uploading the arrears reports on system
• Maintain notes within the system following all communication with clients to provide accurate record as to the status of accounts
• Issuing settlement fee invoices
• Allocating payments on system for rental accounts
• Resolve daily queries both internally and externally (around standing arrears)
• Process credit card payments
• Liaising with customers regarding their lease agreement when required
• Dealing with chargeback reports for the overdue arrears to minimize terminations and chargebacks
