Job summary

Search in Glasgow is seeking a proactive Credit Controller for a 9 to 12 month fixed term contract, with potential to become permanent. You will manage bank allocations, process client payments and issue reminders while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and experience with debt recovery. Immediate start is preferred, with a salary up to £35,000 and a benefits package including private healthcare after probation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in credit control with debt recovery.
• Confident, proactive approach to managing customer accounts.

• Experience with RPM systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage bank allocations and process client payments.
• Issue payment reminders and chase overdue debts.
• Handle queries via phone and email with excellent service.
• Liaise with property managers and solicitors regarding property sales.
• Manage Direct Debit collections and online card payments.
• Prepare fund collection reports and oversee contractor invoices.

Are you a confident Credit Controller ready for your next challenge?

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing business based in Kinning Park. With an expanding customer portfolio, this is a key role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of its growth.

We are keen to speak with customer focused Credit Controllers who take pride in building strong relationships and consistently go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional level of service.

This is initially a 9 to 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
