Job summary

Belinda Roberts Ltd in the Bury area is seeking a Credit Analyst to process credit applications promptly and manage credit insurance levels. Training will be provided and you will report to the Head of Finance.

You will assess applications, provide feedback to Sales on decisions, spot opportunities in credit scenarios, generate reports, and deliver KPI summaries monthly. The role combines teamwork with strong attention to detail and Excel ability.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Accounts and Financial Statements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work both in a team and independently.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing credit applications and making timely credit decisions.
• Provide feedback/performance reports to the Sales team on credit decisions.
• Ensure adequate credit insurance is maintained.
• Identify commercial opportunities within credit decisions and escalate as needed.
• Generate reports and monthly KPI summaries.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

My client is a fast growing service business based in the Bury area.

As a result of growth there is a requirement for a new Credit Analysist with the primary function of processing credit applications in a timely manner. Further key tasks include ensuring the business has the correct amount of credit insurance in place. My clients strength is in the quality of their service reflected in the knowledge and enthusiasm of their staff. Training will be provided.

Reporting to the Head of Finance duties will include:

• Assessing credit applications
• Providing feedback/performance reports to the Sales team on credit decisions
• Ensuring adequate credit insurance is maintained
• Recognising commercial opportunities within a credit decision and escalating appropriately
• Generate reports as and when required
• KPI monthly summaries
• Other Adhoc Duties
