Job summary

Belinda Roberts Ltd in the Bury area is seeking a Credit Analyst to process credit applications and manage credit insurance coverage. Training will be provided as part of a growing service operation.

The candidate will assess applications, feed back to the Sales team on decisions, maintain insurance levels, and identify commercial opportunities in credit risk. You will also generate reports and KPI summaries while working independently or within a team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of accounts and financial statements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated with good time management.
• Computer literate with strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team or alone.

Responsibilities

• Assessing credit applications.
• Providing feedback and performance reports to Sales on credit decisions.
• Ensuring adequate credit insurance is maintained.
• Recognising commercial opportunities within credit decisions and escalating as needed.
• Generate reports as required.
• Prepare KPI monthly summaries.
• Undertake other ad hoc duties.

My client is a fast growing service business based in the Bury area.

As a result of growth there is a requirement for a new Credit Analysist with the primary function of processing credit applications in a timely manner. Further key tasks include ensuring the business has the correct amount of credit insurance in place. My clients strength is in the quality of their service reflected in the knowledge and enthusiasm of their staff. Training will be provided.

Reporting to the Head of Finance duties will include:

• Assessing credit applications
• Providing feedback/performance reports to the Sales team on credit decisions
• Ensuring adequate credit insurance is maintained
• Recognising commercial opportunities within a credit decision and escalating appropriately
• Generate reports as and when required
• KPI monthly summaries
• Other Adhoc Duties

The right candidate will have:

• A good understanding of Accounts/Financial Statements
