Job summary

Old Bicycle Shop in Cambridge is seeking a Sous Chef to join a vibrant kitchen team. You will lead, train and develop staff, while delivering high‑quality, fresh, locally sourced dishes.

The role offers autonomy to create menus under the Head Chef and to contribute to daily specials in a welcoming, busy environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef, manage rotas, health & safety, and help drive sales through strong kitchen and front-of-house collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high‑quality fresh food.
• Ability to manage rota, training, and health & safety.
• Creative input to menus and daily specials.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
