Compass Group UK&I is seeking an ambitious Sous Chef to join our team and help deliver exceptional food experiences. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) focuses on fresh ingredients, creativity, and maintaining a high standard of service across a dynamic kitchen.

You will work closely with a passionate team, drive improvements in food service, manage stock and waste, and ensure rigorous hygiene and safety standards are met while supporting budget targets and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ambitious Sous Chef with a passion for fresh ingredients.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality.
• Strong timekeeping and reliability with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food service and efficiency.
• Creating a positive kitchen environment where the team feels welcomed.
• Supporting the team with ordering, stock control and reducing waste.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
