The stories are already there. This role is for the person who knows how to find them and turn them into social content people want to watch, share and return to.
An independent, family-run womenswear brand is looking for a bright, imaginative and highly engaged Creative Social Media Manager to translate its distinctive world into intelligent, original content and help shape the next chapter of the brand across social.
The brand is known for expressive colour, beautiful fabrics, distinctive silhouettes, global craft, art, culture and women with their own point of view.
Based in a beautiful, light-filled design studio and HQ in Primrose Hill, the successful candidate will be close to the entire creative process — from first sketches, new fabrics and fittings to campaign shoots, conversations with designers, arrivals from independent makers, boutiques and the everyday life of the brand.
That access is what makes this role special. They will not be creating from a distance; they will be there when the stories begin.
The Creative Social Media Manager will lead the brand’s organic social presence from the first idea through to final insight, with Instagram and Facebook at its heart, while keeping a thoughtful eye on where the brand should go next.
They will:
The ideal candidate will be a maker as well as a thinker. They will understand the difference between content that is simply polished and content that has a real idea behind it.
They may already be working as a Social Media Manager, or could be an exceptional Senior Social or Content Executive ready to take full ownership of a brand’s social presence.
Experience within fashion, lifestyle, culture or another design-led consumer brand would be valuable, but great work, sound judgement and genuine creative instinct matter more than a perfectly conventional CV.
The successful candidate will join a committed and collaborative team, with direct access to the creative process and the opportunity to work within an independent brand with a distinctive point of view and a loyal community.
Most importantly, the role offers genuine scope to influence how the brand looks, sounds and connects with people.
The role is full-time and based entirely in-house, 5 days a week, at the brand’s design studio and HQ in Primrose Hill, London NW1.
