Job summary

Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School is seeking a creative teacher to cover maternity leave from January 2027. The role focuses on ensuring progress through robust interventions while supporting mainstream learning and achieving high-quality outcomes for students.

The successful candidate will have QTS and substantial SEN experience, including cognition and learning needs, lesson planning, delivering engaging lessons, and coordinating an individualised curriculum for small cohorts.

Qualifications

• Plan, prepare and deliver outstanding lessons.
• Develop flexible, individualised curriculum for small cohorts.
• Baseline assessment and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with LA SEN teams and clinicians.
• Lead a team of support staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons for students with SEN.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support learning.
• Monitor and track student progress and adapt plans accordingly.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to support staff.
