Job summary

Mangotsfield CofE Primary School is seeking a part-time SEN-focused teacher to join our ambitious team. You will deliver high-quality teaching in our Enhanced School Provision for most of the week, with some whole-class teaching in other areas of the school.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, show a strong track record with SEN learners, and demonstrate expertise in the primary curriculum, phonics, and adaptive/differentiated instruction.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strong teaching and a positive track record of impact for all learners, including those with SEN.
• Knowledge of the primary curriculum and its assessment, with focus on EYFS or KS1.
• Expert knowledge of adaptive and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Secure knowledge of phonics and early reading.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for learners and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching in our Enhanced School Provision for the majority of the week.
• Deliver some whole-class teaching across the rest of the school.
• Work in collaborative teams to plan and deliver an outstanding, bespoke curriculum.
• Observe and learn from colleagues within our school and partner settings.
• Engage with supportive parents, carers and governors.
