Job summary

Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a 20-hour, Monday–Friday role (11am–3pm or similar). The setting is in Saffron Walden, CB11, located on the grounds of Saffron Walden County High School and rated Good by Ofsted.

You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each key child, uphold EYFS standards, and work with colleagues and parents while safeguarding children.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child to support development toward milestones.
• Maintain a safe, expressive environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning.
