Job summary

Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery is seeking a part-time Early Years Practitioner to support children in a warm, EYFS-informed setting. The role emphasizes planning engaging activities and safeguarding while building strong partnerships with families.

You will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-site parking and staff facilities, in a setting housed on the grounds of Saffron Walden County High School.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to encourage development towards milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves, engage their minds, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
• Foster positive partnerships with parents and carers and support a collaborative team environment.
