Job summary

Bright Horizons Long Road Day Nursery & Pre-School is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan and deliver engaging activities for key children while ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment. The role emphasises development toward EYFS milestones and building strong partnerships with families.

You will work full-time (40 hours, Mon-Fri) at the Cambridge site, with a supportive team and access to professional development. A welcome bonus of £2,000 is offered to new starters under terms.

Qualifications

• Must have Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child.
• Maintain a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and develop.
• Foster a lifelong love of learning and curiosity in the children.
• Build trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
