Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development to help your team excel, while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

  • Are dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every dish meets high standards and your team is equipped with necessary skills and mindset.
  • Have experience maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Are committed to building a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Are a proactive problem solver, capable of quick thinking and decision-making.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to have meaningful conversations and support your team effectively.
  • Experience ensuring high standards in food, health, safety, and financial performance including GP and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team to thrive in their roles and careers.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
  • A forward-thinking problem solver, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
