Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and presentation.
• In-depth understanding of food safety practices including HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the menu and standards.
• Maintain food safety and proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menu items.
• Ensure all dishes meet high quality and presentation standards.
• Support and guide kitchen staff and assistants.
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and stock rotation.
• Monitor food costs and minimise waste through portion control.
• Adjust recipes based on customer feedback to improve satisfaction.
• Keep kitchen area clean and well-organised.
