Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and ensure smooth and effective kitchen operations. You will drive high-quality food, maintain cleanliness and presentation standards, and work within seasonal and budgetary constraints across one of the UK’s largest holiday park providers.

You will manage kitchen staff, monitor stock, collaborate with senior leadership, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking and kitchen leadership in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with FOH staff.
• Capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and improving kitchen ops.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening/closing of the kitchen for smooth operations.
• Monitor stock and coordinate with management to maintain inventory.
• Ensure food prep, cooking and presentation meet standards.
• Uphold BOH procedures and food safety/hygiene standards.
• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain performance and standards.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership on menu ideas and budgets.
• Manage kitchen budget and control resources to hit financial targets.
• Directly supervise the team to ensure high service levels.
