Job summary

British Garden Centres is seeking a skilled Chef/Cook to prepare meals to the menu, delivering tasty dishes with timely service. You will work in a busy kitchen, upholding standards and helping grow our reputation as we expand our dining offer.

The ideal candidate has experience in busy kitchens, can follow recipes, and maintain safety standards. Carvery experience is desirable; stay calm and reliable during peak times. This is a full-time role including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a busy kitchen.
• Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs.
• Experience of cooking carvery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
• Able to manage multiple orders.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Remain calm under pressure.
• Good time management.

• Prepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standard.
