Advinia Healthcare is seeking a Chef at Stonedale Lodge Care Home in the UK to lead daily kitchen operations, plan menus, and prepare meals for residents, staff, and visitors. You’ll manage stock, ensure food safety and hygiene, and support special events with creative, high-quality dishes.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent English required.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation Cooking.
• Basic Food Hygiene (essential); Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Maintain food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Plan and cook meals to high standard, accommodating dietary requests.
• Serve Residents, Staff and Visitors with professional service.
• Prepare foods for events and cost control through budgeting.
