Job summary

Bob & Berts Omagh is seeking a passionate Cook to lead our kitchen, creating high-quality, delicious dishes for our guests. You will develop seasonal menus, manage daily prep, and maintain strong food safety standards in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef or cook in a cafe, bistro, or fast-paced kitchen.
• Proven ability to create menus, manage costs, and work with seasonal produce.
• Ability to work quickly and cleanly under pressure.
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to train and motivate junior staff or volunteers.
• Passionate about food, friendly, and team-oriented.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fresh, seasonal cafe menus for breakfast and lunch.
• Prepare and cook menu items to high quality standards.
• Ensure dishes are presented well to enhance customer experience.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and place supplier orders.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to support efficient service and handle allergies.
