Job summary

Junior Adventures Group UK is seeking a Childcare Activity Leader for Bedford Road Primary Academy to supervise and deliver Breakfast Club and After School activities for children aged 4-11. The role is split-shift, mornings and afternoons, with a mid-day break, during term time in Bedford.

You’ll lead fun, engaging activities, supervise with enthusiasm, and help create a welcoming, safe environment. DBS checks apply, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Loves working with children, with a positive can-do attitude.
• Creativity for turning ordinary afternoons into magical experiences.
• Team player who can lead activities and manage groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring each child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, with a mid-day break for study or rest.
