Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring an enthusiastic childcare Activity Leader for breakfast and after-school clubs in Bedfordshire. You’ll lead age-appropriate activities, supervise groups, and help with snacks while keeping children safe and engaged.

This zero-hour contract offers casual hours, with potential to increase during Holiday Club seasons, and travel within Bedfordshire is required. The role suits someone who loves working with kids, can think creatively, and works well in a team yet

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and a positive can-do attitude.
• Creative thinker who turns ordinary afternoons into engaging activities.
• Willing to work split shifts and travel round Bedfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and group games.
• Set up play spaces, keeping areas safe, clean, and engaging.
• Supervise children with care, ensuring inclusion and safety.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with a friendly approach.
• Work split shifts: mornings and afternoons with a mid-day break.
