Junior Adventures Group in Clifton is hiring an Activity Leader to run Breakfast Club and After School activities for children aged 4-11. The role features a split shift (7:30–9:00 and 3:20–6:00) within a term-time contract, with opportunities to cover holidays. You’ll create fun, safe activities and support a lively team.

Paid at national minimum wage for age, with training and DBS/safeguarding procedures in place. A great role for those who love working with children and want part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Loves working with children and brings a positive, can-do attitude.
• Creative thinker who can turn ordinary mornings/afternoons into fun activities.
• Team player who can also lead activities.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work is a bonus.
• Able to work split shifts and comply with safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts and crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep areas safe and tidy.
• Supervise children with care, ensuring everyone feels welcome, safe and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out procedures.
• Work split shifts: 7:30-9:00am and 3:20-6:00pm.
• Be a team player who can take the lead when needed.
