Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Art for a secondary school in Birkenhead who will join from January 2027. You will plan engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students explore techniques and build portfolios.

The role requires QTS, strong subject knowledge in Art and Design, and the ability to inspire learners of varied abilities. A positive classroom approach and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design.
• Experience teaching secondary-age pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach a range of techniques, materials and artistic processes.
