Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting an Art Teacher for a South Leeds secondary school, starting in January on a full-time supply basis. You will deliver Art across KS3/KS4, plan engaging lessons, assess progress and support students to realise their creative potential within a supportive department.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management and safeguarding awareness. DBS should be updated or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for creative education.
• Inspires and motivates learners of all abilities; maintains high standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess, monitor and report student progress.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students to achieve their full potential academically and creatively.
