Job summary

Optalis is the Adult Social Care delivery partner for Wokingham Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council. We provide Learning Disabilities Day Services at Boyn Grove (Maidenhead) and Oakbridge (Windsor), offering a range of on-site activities designed to keep people mentally and physically active and develop new skills.

We are recruiting two Activity Support Organisers for fixed-term and permanent part-time hours, with roles across 37 hours or 30 hours per week and

Qualifications

• Experience in the care sector would be beneficial but is not necessary.
• Full training is provided.
• Manual UK driving licence is required to drive service vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centred support and help deliver meaningful activities.
• Engage and motivate people to take part in on-site activities and events.
• Support with life skills, as well as emotional and physical wellbeing.
• Assist with care responsibilities, including meals and mobility when needed.
