Job summary

Sandstone Care Group's St Helens Hall Care Home is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of activities and events for residents. You will encourage participation, build relationships, and promote wellbeing through social engagement, with duties including trips, entertainment, and supporting residents to stay active.

The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, with shifts 10am-3pm or 12pm-5pm, including some weekends, and a rate of pay £12.76 per hour.

Qualifications

• Friendly, creative individual with a passion for activities in elder care.
• Ability to plan, organise and deliver group activities.
• Able to encourage participation and build relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities and events.
• Encourage residents to take part in activities reflecting their interests and hobbies.
• Build positive relationships with residents and promote wellbeing.
• Organise group activities, entertainment, trips and special events.
• Support residents to stay active, engaged and connected.
• Work closely with colleagues, families and the wider community.
